In 2003, the founders of Nextwind had already had long and successful careers as wind turbine design engineers and engineering managers for one of the world’s top wind turbine manufacturers, and started independent design consulting. Since that time we have assisted market entry wind energy companies around the world. In the past three years we have completed three new custom wind turbine designs for three separate customers, with an average time to market of 18 months.
We are now available to contract with new customers to develop customized designs. In parallel we are developing a family of Nextwind turbines for license which are being designed to meet our high standards for reliability, service cost, and safety, and which incorporate best in industry design concepts and components.
